The Glitz at the Ritz Bali
Their website credits the ocean as playing a central role in this Bali experience. But it plays second fiddle next to the hotel itself. The real star here (and I’d give 5 of them) is the hotel itself. With the impeccable service, luxurious rooms, and amenities to spoil all your senses, you’d scarcely need the ocean.
The hotel lobby is nestled atop a hill giving breathtaking bird’s eye views of the resort grounds and said ocean below. Golf carts greeted us (and the occasional monkey too) to bring us to our villa with private pool - and anywhere on the grounds and can be arranged by a personal butler. A standout memory is the “smart” toilet that has a night light and automatically lifts the seat and warms as needed! You know you’re at the Ritz when…the bottom line is pampering, well, even your bottom!
The restaurants also kept the Ritz standards up. While we didn’t opt for the full board, executive club option, “regular” dining was still a first class experience. When our son had an allergic reaction to soy infused sausage, their team (butler, head chef , and manager) was on hand and were very concerned and helpful. They continued reaching out and sending “get well” treats for the rest of our stay. We felt sincerely cared for.
Ocean, service, amenities get top marks across the board. It is the Ritz Carlton Bali. I can hardly wait for our next Ritz experience in Koh Samui! Stay tuned!
