I Need an Outlet!

Everyone needs an outlet every so often. And in this case, we got one at Miramas in the form of the McArthurGlen Outlet mall.

As you can surmise from its name, it was very much like the outlet malls in North America, down to our usual favourite stores: Coach, Michael Kors, and Hugo Boss. More European flavoured shops include the Haribo confectionary store and (I’ll assume because I hadn’t of heard of them before) the Kooples, Ba&sh, and Cotelac.

Driving to the mall you’ll find ample parking. Unless your GPS is brand spankingly updated, follow the signs to the mall when you get close as our 2018 Renault Captur didn’t recognize some of the new roadways.

Once you get inside after a brief security check, you’ll see French inspired stylings on the buildings but it is an outlet mall as you’d expect to see “back home.” For the kidlets, there is an awesome play space strategically placed amidst the restaurants. Dine (in peace) as they play and work up an appetite after you’ve eaten!

So if you need a piece of home and an outlet for the kids, make your way to Miramas and the outlet mall. McArthurGlen is melting in the dark… (sorry I couldn’t resist slipping in one of my favourite Summers…)
